About My Business

Hi, I’m Jess, an award-winning, Humanists UK accredited wedding celebrant based in Midhurst, West Sussex, creating joyful, personal, meaningful, and ultimately unforgettable wedding ceremonies.

I truly believe your ceremony is the headline moment of your wedding day. It is the heart of your celebration, the moment where your love story takes centre stage, and the part your family and friends will remember for years to come. My passion is creating ceremonies that feel completely authentic to you as a couple - warm, relaxed, heartfelt, and full of personality.

I work closely with every couple and always go above and beyond to create something truly bespoke. No two ceremonies are ever the same. Whether you’re dreaming of something romantic and elegant, fun and light-hearted, modern and relaxed, or wonderfully quirky, I will help bring your vision to life.

Your wedding, your way

One of the wonderful things about a celebrant-led ceremony is the freedom it gives you. Your wedding can take place anywhere - a woodland, beach, garden, stately home, hotel, clifftop, marquee, family home, or even abroad.

Unlike more traditional ceremonies, there are no strict rules about what you can include. Together we can create something beautifully personal with:

• your love story
• meaningful readings
• music that means something to you
• personal vows and promises
• ring exchange wording
• symbolic rituals such as handfasting, ring warming, unity candles, or sand blending
• involvement from children, family, friends, and even pets

This is your day, and it should feel exactly how you want it to feel.

The process

I love getting to know my couples and making the whole process enjoyable and stress-free.

We begin with a relaxed chat so I can hear all about your plans, your story, and the kind of ceremony you’re dreaming of.

Once booked, I guide you through every step - from planning meetings and questionnaires to helping with vows and readings. Around four months before the wedding, we meet to really dive into your journey together, how you met, what you love about one another, and what marriage means to you.

From this, I write your completely bespoke ceremony script and send over a first draft for you to review. We then work together on any changes until it feels absolutely perfect.

I also offer an optional rehearsal to help you feel calm and confident before the big day.

On the day

On your wedding day, I arrive early to ensure everything runs smoothly. I liaise with photographers, planners, musicians, and readers so you can simply relax and soak up every moment.

My aim is for it to feel natural, joyful, and effortless - like being married by a trusted friend who truly knows you both.

Where I work

I’m based in West Sussex and regularly work across Sussex, Hampshire, and throughout the UK. I am also more than happy to travel for destination weddings abroad.

Pricing

My full celebrant package is £790, which includes planning, writing and redrafting your bespoke script, support with vows, an optional rehearsal, and delivery of your ceremony on the day.

A little about me

Those who know me describe me as positive, warm, easy-going, and full of life, and that’s exactly the energy I bring to every ceremony.

When I’m not conducting weddings, you’ll usually find me singing with my choir, playing hockey, spending time with my husband, our two boys, and our cocker spaniel, or off on adventures in the Alps.

I absolutely love weddings, I love making people happy, and I genuinely adore what I do.
