I'm an award winning wedding celebrant with over 10 years experience and was a wedding planner for many years. I conduct ceremonies throughout England, with all costs included in the price quoted. I have been a Wedding Celebrant for over 10 years and prior to this was a wedding planner with my own business.Once I receive your enquiry, we'll have an initial chat over zoom, or whatsapp, to introduce ourselves and get an idea of the style of ceremony you would like
My website www.jmcelebrant.com includes a couple of videos of ceremonies I've performed to give you some ideas. Following this, we will meet in person for a more in depth discussion and begin planning your ceremony.
This can take the appearance of a 'Traditional' service, or can be something completely different.
We are a team and I work with you to plan a personal, relaxed, fun and meaningful ceremony that can contain readings, vows or promises, religious content and traditions from different cultures - whatever you feel represents you as a couple and as individuals. Often couples enjoy including 'Their Story', featuring details of their journey together, up to this amazing point in their lives.
All pets (within reason) are welcome!
My fee includes - Unlimited meetings,
Writing your script and adding any amendments until it is perfect.
Being available to answer any questions or concerns, no matter how small, within 24 hours.
Helping to write or sending examples of vows/promises, rituals, readings etc, which you may wish to include.

Having gathered so much experience as a wedding planner, I'm more than happy to share any tips and advice to help your ceremony run smoothly.
My aim is to make your ceremony fun, relaxed and very personal. With lots of laughter, the odd tear and lots of 'ahh' moments!

I have been a Celebrant for over 10 years and prior to this was a wedding planner with my own business.
My website includes a couple of videos showing some of the ceremonies I've performed, both inside venues and in stunning gardens. Not shown are the weddings I've performed surrounded by horses in fields, or when the tide was coming in on the beach!
I have introduced a simplified ceremony, with a smaller fee, representing the reduced level of personal writing, perfect for couples who don't want to share too many personal details.
My fee includes a rehearsal, all travel, performing your ceremony on the day and a hard copy of your script. I also include unlimited meetings via zoom or in person.
I hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance
We work as a team and as such, I always run the script by you to ensure you are both happy and any changes may be made right up to your rehearsal.

Always eat something prior to your wedding. You need something in your stomach to help you concentrate and focus. Its a long day and you'll need all your energy

Jenny was so important to our wedding
From our initial meeting we knew immediately Jenny was the one for us. Within minutes she put us at ease and any nervousness turned to pure excitement. She understood our relationship completely and put our story into a beautiful monologue at the ceremony, which had everyone including ourselves in tears and fits of laughter. I was a nervous wreck the morning of the wedding, but when I saw Jenny, I knew every was going to be fine. When the ceremony was finished and she left, I genuinely felt like someone from the family was leaving and was very sad to see her go. I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Jenny was without doubt the best celebrant we could've had. The first thing I think is important, is how clearly Jenny is a true believer in both love and people. She was not only incredibly professional and prepared but also kind, warm and funny. She made us all laugh, she made a few of us cry and told our story in such a beautifully personal way, it really touched me. Jenny was the celebrant for our wedding at Minley Manor in October 2023. She put so much thought and effort into making our ceremony personal and special. This included coming to our house to get to know us and speaking with a few of our close friends in order to draft the script of "Our Story", a special retelling of our journey to marriage. She helped us to write our own personal vows and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable before the day. On the day, Jenny was professional, warm, kind and funny and delivered an incredible ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye in the room and more than one person commented that it was the most personal ceremony they had been to. Thank you so much Jenny for making our day so special!!

Perfection from start to finish
Working with Jenny is the absolute dream. Her attention to detail is unmatched - she took the time to truly get to know my now husband and I, both through us and our friends, as well as dive into the ins and outs of our love story. Our ceremony was personalised and so ‘us’ thanks to Jenny. We unexpectedly moved abroad during the wedding planning stage and Jenny was there asking if we needed help with anything (in addition to her lovely ceremony prep). Truly went above and beyond. Jenny will definitely remain a friend to us for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for everything, Jenny!

We love Jenny! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
Jenny was our wedding celebrant and we could not have wished for anything more or anyone better! She was absolutely incredible. As a person, Jenny is so warm, kind, fun and made us feel at ease/comfortable right from the beginning. From the planning phase, she was there to guide us through what the ceremony would be like, she took the time to visit and speak to us to get to know us better, she helped answer questions on anything we were doubtful of, even if slightly unrelated. When speaking to our friends who all were in different time zones, she did not hesitate to take calls early morning. Our friends absolutely loved speaking with her and all said they had such a great time. Jenny took the time to have a rehearsal with us at our venue and even worked with a last minute change in location which we were truly grateful for. She led our ceremony incredibly well. All of our guests loved how natural and personal the ceremony was. She spoke so clearly, so emotionally yet keeping it lighthearted which is exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Jenny in a heartbeat and cannot thank her enough!

Meet the Owner
I'm a mum to 3 grown up children and a Nana to 2 fantastic young kiddies. I live in Surrey, with my husband 2 dogs and rehomed tortoise, Myshell! I was a wedding planner for a number of years and have been a Celebrant for over10 years. Deciding to become a Celebrant is one of the best decisions I've ever made, working with wonderful couples and winning a number of awards for doing a job I love. Your ceremony may be performed anywhere you choose, with many couples signing the legal paperwork at the registry office and saving their vows etc., for their celebrant ceremony. Initially we'll have a chat via zoom or WhatsApp to introduce ourselves, discuss the style of your ceremony and find out a little more about each other. We'll then meet in person to discuss your ideas and ceremony in more detail. You may be thinking of a more traditional wedding with or without an element of religion, or something a little more modern and if appropriate, a ceremony embracing different cultures and traditions. We can incorporate Your Story, your journey to how you arrived at this point in your lives. This is emotional and fun, whilst reflecting your love and commitment to each other. I write all your script, not using Al or templates and this is why it is such a personal, relaxed and unique ceremony. Recently I've introduced a beautiful but simplified ceremony, with a fee that represents the reduced level of personal writing and this is perfect for couples who want some guidance, but don't wish to share too many personal details.
