A fantastic venue run by the best people!
What a fantastic venue! We went to my cousin's wedding here and were blown away by the beautiful rural setting and warmth of the hosts. The space was immaculate both inside and out and our photos with the beautiful barn and rolling hills in the background will be cherished for years to come.

Highly recommended for a wedding - 5*!!!
Highly recommend for a wedding or event! The venue is stunning, the owners are the most helpful lovely people you will find. The main hall is a brilliant size for a large or a smaller wedding with the most beautiful long bar, with the new area making the most cosy dancefloor area! The views from the cattle barn are beautiful, with so much outdoor space we had some lovely outside features which really made the wedding. The pond area out the back is just stunning. And the presentation of the cattle barn is second to none. The flowers around the venue are beautiful, I’ve never seen such full, colourful and incredible flower beds. It was such a special day made perfect by being at the cattle barn. Go have a look, you will not be disappointed!

The perfect day at the perfect venue.
We had our wedding reception at The Cattle Barn in June and we couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful venue and location to celebrate with friends and family. It was a glorious, hot, sunny day and the views were spectacular. The barn is set amongst beautiful grounds with grass laid lawns and flower beds surrounding the outside seating area which meant we really didn’t need to make much effort decorating the outside space! There was easily enough room to accommodate 200+ guests, both inside and out, and there were plenty of comfy sofas and benches to sit on and have a drink or two.
The inside of the barn is also light and airy and there's lots of space for tables and a dance floor. A gorgeous bar stretches the length of the room which is lit with fairy lights and this leads outside to a lovely pond area where you can sit and relax under the willow tree.
Along the outside of the barn there are a number of bunkhouses and two very cute glamping Pods which guests may book should they wish to stay overnight. We stayed in one of the Pods which was bee themed and the owners made it feel really special for us.
The venue is run by its owners, Fred and Vicki, who went above and beyond to help make our day spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble and Vicki even matched the staff's uniform with our wedding colours! We were able to decorate the venue the previous day and Fred and Vicki were very relaxed about how we wanted to arrange things, even helping out when time was pressing on. All of the staff worked so hard to make sure everyone enjoyed the day and were so friendly and welcoming to us and our guests. We had an outside BBQ during the evening, followed by some amazing homemade desserts made by Vicki. We received so many compliments about the food and venue afterwards which speaks volumes. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more and want to thank everyone at The Cattle Barn for all their hard work making sure everything ran smoothly. It was the perfect day.

Amazing venue
I recently went to a wedding at The Cattle Barn and had such a lovely time. The setting is beautiful, and I really liked how the day used both barns, the wedding breakfast and speeches felt really cosy in one, and then in the evening everyone could spread out across both barns, which worked so well for a big group. The staff were genuinely friendly and everything felt calm and well organised. A really great place for a wedding.

The Cattle Barn is the most gorgeous venue around. It has stunning scenery all year round, so much space which is perfect for any event. The owners cannot do enough to help events run smoothly - it comes with all necessary furniture and perfect natural backdrop for photos!

I have attended two exceptional weddings at The Cattle Barn.
Both were incredible from start to finish with a truly unique setting, amazing decor and attentive hosts.
The first, was a winter wedding; The Cattle Barn provided the an excellent cosy venue on a cold, crisp February day. There were multiple picturesque places for photos, including the pond and stone frontage, meaning that these came out beautifully. The venue was warm and inviting: adding to the overall ambiance of the day.
The second, was a summer wedding in July. The flowers beds around the venue were spectacular and the landscaped area surrounding the barns were the perfect setting for relaxed drinks and canapés. The two barns work as a dynamic space, which worked so well to build from the atmosphere of the lower barn the wedding breakfast and opening the top barn to get the party started with the band.
Overall an exceptional venue with professional and caring staff which would make any event go superbly!

The Perfect Wedding Venue!
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! From start to finish, Vicki, Fred, and Abi went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless – nothing was ever too much trouble. The attention to detail was incredible: the bar was well stocked, the venue spotless, and the flowers were absolutely beautiful.
